Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay has been a much happier person lately. The coach expressed to the media how happy he has been since the team traded Jared Goff for Matthew Stafford during the offseason.
Everyone around McVay noticed that he has been in a better mood.
Goff is now slated to start at quarterback for the Detroit Lions. McVay has never publicly hinted any negative feelings about Goff, but this is telling.
While the Rams made it to the Super Bowl in 2018, it has been clear that their weakest link was at quarterback. McVay finally has that guy he feels can take them all the way.
After the Stafford comments yesterday McVay did clear up to the media that he was not taking a shot at Jared Goff.
Either way you look at it, the 35-year-old head coach is excited to have Matthew Stafford instead of Jared Goff. Which also makes him very happy. Stafford has lost a lot of games in his career but the Rams look to change that with a winning culture.
