Kevin Durant is forcing the hand of the Brooklyn Nets with a trade ultimatum. It isn’t a small ask either. He has informed the Nets that they are going to have to get rid of head coach Steve Nash or trade him.

In a meeting with Nets owner Joe Tsai, Kevin Durant reiterated his trade request and informed Tsai that Tsai needs to choose between Durant or the pairing of general manager Sean Marks and coach Steve Nash, sources say.

Kevin Durant has expressed that he wanted out previously but this confirms how serious he is about not wanting to work with Nash and general manager Sean Marks. The Nets have proved to be nothing but a disaster so far and this is just the latest domino to fall. This was supposed to be a super team destined for multiple NBA championships. That seems like a pipe dream at this point.
